PARK DRAG: Built in 1870 for the Earl of Lonsdale, England
See it back in England;
May 10th, 2008 at Windsor Castle.
(no, the woman on the Drag isn't the Queen.) |
UPDATE from its New Owner driving this awesome team: "We
had a wonderful day at the Royal Windsor Horse Show and drove
through Her Majesty the Queens private grounds at Windsor Castle
and met both Her Majesty and Prince Philip whilst on the Park
Drag. HRH Prince Philip commenting "absolutely splendid
- well done" as we passed by. Followed this by a Coaching
Dinner at Comberemere Barracks as guest of the Officer Commanding
the Household Cavalry. A magical day. "

A stately example of the highest
of quality, this magnificent coach is authenticated to have been
made for the Earl LD. Lonsdale's. It is a superb vehicle of historic
importance, in excellent condition built by Barker & Co.
(London).
Here's what it looked like
when Gene drove it with his Fjords.
Shipped: 1/20/2007 Off to its new hitch of horses and a new chapter in history. |
